How to be an independent learner?
Learning is a student’s job. We are students so we should be learning, and we also have to learn how to be an independent learner.
To be an independent learner, you don’t ask for help from other people before you read through the question and think about it. But you have to ask when you think you really need help. Because you still can’t understand it after you actually read through the question and think about that, it means that you can’t solve the problem by yourself, so you need help from others.
Before you start to learn a new subject, you have to think about what are you going to learn? How do you learn? Why do you learn it? You have to think about this before you start to learn, because you learn on purpose. People don’t need to learn about useless subjects.
Time management is another important thing of being an independent learner. Time is very precious, we have to know how to learn how to use time wisely. To do the right thing on the right time is important. Doing the wrong thing on the wrong time is not a good independent learner.
Learning independently is a way to help you to get a better ability of thinking and learning.
To be an independent learner, you have to set a goal for yourself. You set a goal for yourself and then you go for it, work for it. You can’t be a independent learner without setting a goal for yourself.
Every student should be an independent learner, If you cannot be an independent learner, then you won’t achieve your ambitions, everything has do be clear: What are you learning? What are you learning for? How are you going to learn? If you are not, then you can’t be an independent learner.
